  XDCAM Transfer – turn off video track

  This might be a strange question. But it’s come up a couple of times (much more than I would’ve expected it to).

  I have a bunch of clips to rewrap in XDCAM Transfer for use in a Final Cut project. But there are a large number of them that I already know I will only be using the audio from. All of the clips were shot in full HD, so if I could just get the audio from them into Final Cut without the video, it would save me some time getting my footage into Final Cut.

  Any ideas? While I wait for an answer I will have already done this the long way (imported all of the video tracks even though I won’t use them) but if this comes up again is there a way to just import the audio?

  If you have a deck that has the option to show the ProAV folder,
