  Stabilizing spinning shot

  We shot a music video with a singer and Canon 7D on a spinning platform giving the effect of the background spinning behind the subject. The goal was to recreate the beginning of the music video “Baby” by Justin Bieber. The shot came out a little shaky and I have been trying to stabilize it with Smoothcam in Final Cut Pro, Warp stabilizer in After Effects, and by motion tracking in Apple Motion. The software continually tries to anchor the background instead of the subject.
  If anyone has any ideas of how we could smooth this out, I would really appreciate it!
