  DVD rip –> FCP native .MOV

  I’ve been asked by a client to edit video footage from an old conference, and unfortunately all they have is dozens of authored DVD-Rs….

  Does anyone know of a DVD ripper app that will allow you to rip directly to a Final Cut Pro native .MOV file? I’ve tried Handbrake, Burn, WinX, iSkysoft, etc. and they all come close, but none allows me to import a native file (i.e. I always have to render the resulting footage in the timeline).

  I may be looking for the holy grail here, but thought I’d give it a shot 🙂

  My apologies–I continued searching the forum and found the recommendation for MPEG Streamclip, which seems to work perfectly. Thanks to the CC FCP community!
