• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  Updating Final Cut Pro. Stuck at 6.0.4

  I’m trying to update Final Cut Studio 2 after reformatting my hard drive.

  I did a full wipe of the drive, installed Leopard, Ran the updates.
  Installed my SAN software and BlackMagic drivers then installed FCS2 and did the updates again.

  It did not update past 6.0.2 on FCP 6.
  I manually downloaded ProApplicationsUpdate2008-01 thru 5 and FinalCutPro6.0.6Update, SoundtrackPro202Update, CinemaToolsUpdate4.0.1, Motion302Update and DVDStudioPro4.2.1Update.

  I ran ProApplicationsUpdate2008-01 and 2 but I can not get past that because it says I need QuickTime 7.5.5.

  I can’t find a manual download for that.
  I found the Compatibility Update for QuickTime 7.5.5,but that is if you have 7.5.5 already.

  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  Can you get to Quicktime 7.7?

  Dual 3Gg Quad Core
  4Gg RAM
  KONA 3
  OS 10.5.8
