  Audio Won’t Play when Smooth Cam is Analysing

  I am having a weird problem where if smooth cam in doing a background process, the audio on my timeline won’t be audible. It is basically muted. What is even more interesting is the fact that it seems to over-ride my whole computer’s audio – ie, no click click sound when I increase or decrease the mac’s volume from its keyboard.

  Does anyone have any insight into this?

  Post the specs of your hardware and software setup, and the last time you performed a clean install if ever.

  I have the same problem Imac.

  Imac
  Running OSX 10.6.8
  2.4 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo
  4 GB 667 MHZ DDR2 SDRAM

  If I wait a couple of minutes it will start working again. I reinstalled FCP and there was no change. It also does it on my Macbook as well.
