  10.6.8 finder menu disappears

  I know this should be posted in the osx forum but I’m interested to
  know if any fcp users have had this happen.

  did a formatted/clean install of 10.6.8 snow leopard last week.

  just now out of nowhere the finder menu at the top of the screen was gone and right clicking menu options are gone too.

  after a few minutes I clicked on the desktop and it came back…
  then it was gone again.

  kinda scary if that happened during a session.

  anyone else had this happen?

  is there a fix?
