    Hello,

I have a problem converting flash video with compressor. I need to create an automated ingest with watcher in Final Cut Server, but Compressor cannot convert.

On my Imac I have Perian and I can convert within Final Cut Pro (by rendering). But if I drag it to Compressor, it will fail converting (quicktime error 10002). Compressor does show we me the content of the flv and I can preview it in Compressor, but converting seems a real problem.

Any idea how to convert it?

Thanks for your time and attention.

Don’t know about automating it, but the combination of Perian and MPEG Streamclip always works for me. And you can batch convert in Streamclip, so this may be an option for you.
