  • Powerpoint jpgs importing as HD in an SD project

Everytime I create an SD project and need to import Powerpoint slides converted to .jpg, the images come into the browser and canvas in the stretched HD aspect ratio even though my sequence is SD, 720×480. Anamorphic is unchecked in the Browser. I have to apply a Distortion effect to each slide in the timeline to fix this. Is there some way to fix this in the Preferences or Browser so that they come in 4×3 to start with? Thanks.

I should think that this is a setting you need to make in the export from power point… can’t change the format of a media file once made elsewhere just by some sort of setting in an import routine.
