  How Much Space Does Pro Res Proxy Save You?

  Hi,

  Does anyone have a compression guide for Apple Pro Res? For instance, if I have 1GB of Pro Res HQ footage, what size would the proxy file come out to of the same file length?

  Here’s the answer to your prayers Sandy… A free widget from Digital Heaven that does exactly what you want. i.e. calculates very precisely how much storage a given running time of the various codecs will occupy on your hard drive.
