Has anyone with the new AE CS3 experienced issues when trying to open old projects created in After Effects 7.0?

On one particular 7.0 project file CS3 crashes when I scrub in my time line. Today on a different 7.0 project I keep getting an error message that says ‘After Effects warning: Unable to import file _____.ep as project’ when I try to open it in CS3.

Trying to work around the problem I tried to just import the old ae project into a new comp in CS3 and I get the error: After Effects error: flushing file _____.aep – bad parameter (-50)

Luckily I still have AE 7.0 but I know that it shouldn’t work this way.

Does anyone know of a solution or a patch or do I just have a faulty install?

    Thx,
    Amber

I installed some updates and it fixed the problem. Please ignore this post.

    Thx,
