    hi every one,

have a footage registered on DVCPro HD codec. When i read the footage with quicktime player on my mac it looks good with no aliasing while when i import it on after effects 7(mac), in the preview window, it shows the video with aliasing, blur and artefacts on edges… and even when i render the movie, it keeps these artefacts… Does someone know a solution?

Try to change fields, turned on/off PAR…
    The comp size is 1920×1080

    Thanks

Yeah, Your problem may be the compl size. I have a custom DVCProHD comp setting for AE.

    960 X 720
Pixel Aspect Ratio- HDV1080/DVCPro HD 720(1.33)
    frame rate 59.94

I had the same exact problem a few months back. Try spitting out another clean version from FCP with the exact settings needed. And make sure those settings match in AFX before import.

Even though my original vid “said” it had the right settings, spitting out a new clean version from FCP fixed it for me. I still don’t know what it was…
