    Hi there

I’m having trouble with a short edit I did. I exported the video at a low quality mpeg-4 with a small size so I could quickly upload the video to the internet to show someone, however now when I export at high quality h.264 the video is much smaller, bad quality and the aspect ratio being off. even when I’m working within fcp I can see that the size is off in the canvas and the quality is an issue. Is there a simple way of going back to the original video quality or will I have to start again? Any help would be greatly appreciated and apologies if it’s a silly question.

Export as a QuickTime movie….not “using QuickTime conversion”…as full quality master. Be sure to make it a self-contained movie. Take that file into Compressor and create anything you need for delivery. Keep the master somewhere so you have the master for later
