  FCP effect presets for 3rd party plugins-Where are they stored?

  Hey All

  JUst was curious where you the presets folder for the plugins is at? I have some 3rd party effects and their presets -just not sure where you put the presets in FCP for use with the plugins

  That depends on the plugin.
  Each developer can make a different installer putting things in different places.

  yeah i understand that –but what I am talking about is if you download presets that users have made –where do you put those –I read something about putting in the Final Cut Pro application support folder but how do you access them in FCP when your editing –to apply them as an effect

  Again that depends of the plugin.
  My NeatVideo put his presets in a folder that hi creates in the Applications folder when he get installed.
  Sapphire and MagicBullet creates folders in the main Library.
  Those folders have nothing to do with FC.
