    Thanks in advance for looking at the thread & any helpful answers you provide.

    I’m going to be editing a 6-7 minute video that mixes the primary footage (XDCAM HD422 1080i60) with some archive footage and still photos in a variety of formats (mostly 4:3 SD). The end video is for a dinner event and will be shown on SD DVD.

    I don’t want to center cut my 16:9 footage. I’m not worried about chopping off the tops and/or bottom of my archive video.

    I’m tempted to make my sequence setting: custom 16:9 (720×405)/ square pixels / Upper (odd) / XDCAM HD422 1080i60 but thought I’d better check here first…
