I don’t know how to correct for this problem, or why exactly it’s happening- but I have a short motion effect (done in the motion tab in FCP) of a high school yearbook making a zig-zag path toward the viewer. It gets bigger and bigger, and then stops and slides to the right. But what am I doing wrong to get this moray effect when the book is tilted and moving? It only happens when the image is tilted. It looks fine when it moves to the left or right, up or down with no angle added to it. it’s also a .png file….about 150 dpi.

    Thanks to any response….

Hi res stills can moire with movement. 72 dpi is effectively video res. Try a bit of Gaussian blur.

And set “Render Motion Effects: BEST”, in your sequence settings.
