Just inherited a project that a previous editor was cutting using MULTICLIP.

There are three camera angles compressed into on video track in the timeline. Each time I reconnect one track the other two go offline. What’s the best way to properly reconnect the entire thing at once?

I would preferred to avoid multicam, but it’s too late now.

    Thanks in advance.

If you don’t want to work in multicam, you can always highlight all the clips in the timeline that have been cut using multicam, right click (cntrl click) on the highlighted clips, then click “Collapse Multiclip” You will see that if you double click on one of the clips in the timeline, you will not get the multicam window in the viewer but just that single clip.

Then, you will probably want to give them each their own individual track, so you go to Edit>Find and the type in the name of one of the clips and select “find all”. This will highlight every clip from that camera, and you can shift drag up to give it its own track. Repeat with each camera angle.

    Hope that helps,
