  wmv data rate confusion

  Hello,

  I want to encode a wmv following my clients specs regarding data rate (500 kbit/s)via QT conversion.Settings are 450 kbit/s for video and 48 kbit/s for audio.

  When I open the wmv in QT afterwards the movie inspector reports a data rate of 1200 kbit/s (and a file size double the size shown in the finder). Is there any way of finding out which data is correct?
