  Compressor crash

  I compressed several projects and then all of a sudden I got a message saying “Failed: 3x crash service down”. This appears in the History panel on the right side where it usually says “processing”. Any ideas? I used the Compressor Repair tool and deleted the plist.

  In your finder select Go…Go to Folder and type in:
  /var/spool/qmaster/

  Delete these files.

  Restart Compressor. You may need to modify or change your preset used to compress the file.

  I have gotten this error too. It’s usually caused by one the presets.

  Try a different preset.

  Yes, it works with the Youtube preset and if I export the sequence then import it into Compressor my normal preset works too. But when I send it straight from the timeline it fails. Not sure what to think. It has happened before but the compressor repair tool usually fixed it. Not this time.
