  Transferring projects between comps

  We have two macs both running FCP and working on the same footage that has been dumped on 2 separate external hard drives. What is the best way to go about transferring FCP projects between these two comps? Thanks!

  Best way is to have the second hard drives as a clone of the original. So the second drive has identical file structure, files and drive name so the projects will automatically connect rather than every time forcing a reconnect.

  The easiest way is having in both system exactly the same path to the files (same HDs name and files folder), this way project will open in both without need for reconnecting.
  If not possible the same path, the more similar you can.
