I’ve started a new project and converted the video files to mp4 using Turbo and imported them to final cut pro to start editing. The first problem I’ve been having is that at the end of each segment the clip freezes for a a very short time, also when I export the project to Color the files which show up are not the edited clips from Final Cut Pro Timeline there random parts from the file it self. Could anyone shed any light on why this is happening.
Just so you know I’m using Final Cut 7.

    Many Thanks

    Yes proress is the solution.
Just for information – you will have same problem if you happen to edit/export VOB files as well.
I understand that files such as .mp4 or .VOB are meant for playback purposes and not for the edit.
