    Hi there,

I’m having a small issue with compressor.

I’m adding a watermark when compressing my footage, but every time I click submit it comes up with “Failed: 3x crash service down”

I’ve tried the watermark as a png and tiff but the same thing still happens.

It compresses absolutely fine without the addition of a watermark.

Is there something I’m missing? Or a a format the watermark needs to be in?

    Any help would be grand.
    Thanks in advance

Just taking a guess…try changing the location of the watermark file.
Is it in the same location as the source video file? If not, try putting it there.

    Hi John,

    Thanks for your reply.

I tried putting the watermark in the same place and it still came up with the same message.
It must be some kind of bug. I may try a reinstall.

Don’t reinstall just yet. It’s a real pain.

Google Compressor Repair from Digital Rebellion. Free utility.

Also, repair permissions on your boot disk using Disk Utility.

I downloaded the compressor repair and repaired permissions.
Seems to be working now, but only if the watermark is a PSD file and is in the same folder as the source. I can live with this.

    Thank you for your help.
