  FCP7 xml import issue

  I have been using Inq Scribe, a subtitle software to create translations to import and sync to quicktimes on final cut 7. I hadn’t run into any problems until I tried to import the final translation (as an xml file) into FCP and it gave me an error message: XML translation was aborted due to a critical error.

  I have been looking on the internet for hours to see if anyone has had a similar problem, but I can’t seem to find anything that works. Is anyone familiar with this? And knows what can be done to fix it?

  Have you checked out the manual for In Scribe in section 6.1-3? there’s troubleshooting tips for FCP there.
