  Audio blown out when exported to QT

  When I export a QT the SFX and MX are distorted. The originals are not peeking above -12 but the sound in question is all mp3. Any thoughts, thanks.

  MP3’s aren’t supported in FCP 7… so you need to transcode the files to aif’s, cut them in and replace the original MP3’s in your sequence.

  Thanks you confirmed what I suspected. I will convert then all to Aiffs.
