still photos that loop for a menu
I have 10 images that i want to scroll horizontally on a dvd menu that will be a 60 second loop. My question it what is the best way to loop the scroll so that you don’t see a jump when the menu loops back to the start in AE? Do i use the offset filter or is there a better way to do this. Thank you.

If I understand what you want, you should make a com wide enough to place all 10 of your images, plus one more, a repeat of your 1st image, and place the images side to side, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,1. Now drag that comp into a new comp, the width of the new comp being the size of one of the images (I’m assuming all the images are the same size). Then by changing position keyframes over time, scroll the images (I did left to right). At the moment the last pic (repeat of #1) snaps into place, then go back one frame (to avoid the “jump”) and make this the end of the work area (“n”). If you render out, then loop this footage you should be OK.
