I’m not sure what it’s called, but it’s the alt-A shortcut, which highlights a clip between the in & out point.

When I have Video only, or audio only in a timeline then you can use alt-Up/Down to move the clip – but you can’t move the clips up or down when there is Video AND Audio.

Any way to use the arrow clips to move the clip, EVEN when there is audio & video?

    Hope this makes sense.

    Thanks,

    Wayne

Shift and drag with your mouse up or down to move. As you can see, you can not use the arrow key to move both audio and video.

Actually, when both video and audio are selected in wireframe mode and you use Alt Arrow up or down, your clip will move position up or down 1 pixel at a time.

    Thanks Guys,

Seems like you can move it after it’s been highlighted if you DON’T hold down the Shift key – that’s what was tripping me up – now I can work around it.

    Tx,

    Wayne
