I got a number of openers, titles and so on made on PC, .mov, TGA-inside w/ alpha-channel. I batch-converted them in ProRes 4444 by MPEGStream Clip, imported in FCP 7 and to my surprise found all of them came without alpha-channel. Then I tried to convert them w/ QT7. For some twisted reason QT7 adds alpha channel only if I force it to ignore gamma correction. Strange stuff.

Just wanted to share with you.

    Hi Everet,
    That’s interesting.
    I’ll try to reproduce that.

    Hi Rafael,
it wasn’t that interesting for me. From now on I have double check QT conversions if alpha-channel involved. Let me know if it shows on your system too.
