    Hello everyone,

I edited a music video and to broadcast they need the format to be (IMX 50 codec) with a constant Bit Rate (CBR). I know how to to get the Imx format but dont know how to make the bit rate constant and NOT (VBR) variable bit rate

Let me know if I can do it on Final cut pro or something else.

    Thanks

    Maurice

If I’m not wrong IMX is always CBR.

I think Rafael is right. The “50” is the bit rate, i.e. 50 Mbit/s.

Ok thank you both. I was kind of thinking that! I will upload that and see what they say.

It is CBR already you don’t need to change anything. There are 3 flavors of IMX- 50,40, & 30 mb/s.
