  Particular Time Freeze with Push-In

  My question:

  Is there a way, in Particular, to freeze the particles in 3D space so I can move a camera around inside? I can’t seem to get them to stop emitting.

  I’ve seen this done before, but I’m not sure if it was in AE or what. It’s really frustrating me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  Use the Physics Time Factor. For more info, search the COW for “particular” and “freeze”.

  Stopping particles from emitting and freezing them in space are two different undertakings.

  To stop particles from emitting animate the Particles per second down to 0. To freeze the particles where they are animate the Physics Time Factor (PTF) down to 0.

  There is also an option in the Motion Blur section to disregard the PTF, which freezes the particles but maintains the motion blur.
