Alright. This is very strange. Never encountered anything like this before.

I’m running FCP7 and just trying to get more than two audio tracks to play at a time.

If I drop a video clip into the timeline (v1, a1, a2) first and then place another clip above it (v2, a3, a4), FCP only plays the audio from the clip I dropped in, but plays the video from the clip above it (as it should).

Now, this is where things get even weirder.

If I delete the first clip I dropped into the timeline (v1, a1, a2) and move the second clip (v2, a3, a4) into it’s place (now in v1, a1, a2), the video continues to play, but it still won’t play the audio.

This is blowing my mind. I deal with overlapping video and audio constantly (as we all do) and have never encountered anything like this. PLEASE HELP!

    Audio tracks are 16 bit, 48khz – 2 Mono.
