Have a client looking for a 2 camera shoot. One of cameras will be varicam, the other HPX 500. As i understand, the Varicam footage will be shot on tape, the HPX shoots to p2. I was going to shoot both at 720/24p. My question is, will the editor have trouble editing the mixed media? If so, what steps will be necessary to be able to edit both cameras footage in the same timeline?
    Thanks in advance,
    Dave

As long as the taped material is captured as DVCPROHD 720p at the same frame rate as the P2 material, they should match exactly format wise, so no problems in the same sequence.
