Final Cut Pro
This one is new to me because I have done this before successfully that is. I have Final Cut 6 on my Mac Book Pro 5.2 Intel Duo core 3.06 Ghz. I have imported a Final cut 5 project (last and latest version -cant recall ver. #) from a PowerMac G5 but when I open the project after converting the audio plays at the correct speed but the video seems to be faster. Example 30 second spot, audio plays out to 30 seconds but video is done in 20 seconds. Did I miss something in the project set up? Using 10 bit uncompressed 4:2:2 setup nothing modified.

Ya got me confused..
You open the project after converting the audio? to what? You had the media online? or?

Sorry for the confusion, not converting audio, upconverting project. I am opening a FCP5 project in FCP6. Then the audio plays at normal speed and video plays 1/3 faster. 30 second spot plays audio in 30 seconds but audio in 20 seconds. But I think it maybe a left over project setting. I was working on a bigger project HD DVCpro at 23.97 frames. This new project is supposed to be 10 bit uncompressed at 29.97 frames. SO I think it is a frame rate problem. Checking
