  Issue exporting from FCP 6.0.6 -‘selection contains no media’

  I have my project all set to be exported in my timeline but when I go to export it via compressor I get a message saying “selection contains no media”. I also tried to see what happens if I exported to quicktime and it just creates a .mov of 6 seconds of black. I tried pasting the project into a new sequence and rendering but then it tells me that all the media is offline. I tried reconnected the media (on both the original timeline as well as the new sequence I created) but it still didnt work. Can someone please advise asap? Need to deliver in the next hour. Thank you!!!!!!

  When I got that message, I went back to my sequence and added an “in” at the beginning of my timeline and an “out” at the very last frame. Compressor worked just fine then.
