  Export from FCP – storage issues

  Hello,
  I recently filmed an event whilst travelling on a sony AVCHD camera. The hours of shooting were unplanned and impromtu. I now have a storage issue. The files are .mts, which I have imported to FCP through log and transfer, all good. However, the problem I have is that the organisers want a copy of the raw files transferred onto their respective hard drives. They will not be able to view the .mts files and do not have FCP. What is the best way for me to transfer these hours of footage into a viewable format for them? One of the guys has a Mac, as do I.

  VLC can read all those formats.
