    Hi all,

I have a song in my time line and the two sound clips (they group together in two usually one track over the other) are now separated. One is on track 11 of my timeline for audio and the other is on track 7. For visual organizational purposes, I’d like to bring them together and move everything up, but I can’t move them or other clips farther up into the time line. I keep having to scroll down and make sure I didn’t miss anything whenever I do an action, and now that I’ve deleted some sound, I have all these empty tracks above the stuff I actually need. I would love to just be able to see everything without scrolling.

Thank you in advance for your help!

To solve your problem at the moment you need to select your audio tracks go to MODIFY>LINK (make sure link is unchecked), then shift click on your audio in track 11 and bring it up to track 8. When done be sure to select BOTH tracks and MODIFY>LINK them together again.

My guess is that the clips were associated with separate tracks when you imported/captured. On the left of the sequence you’ll see A11; A7, etc… and another a11; a7 (or maybe they are just separated by 4 tracks). You need to click on a11 and drag it to a8 – this will cause all your NEWLY imported audion to be on sequential tracks in the future.
