  Capturing footage for Sony z1p

  Hi there were capturing footage for a sony z1p camea. We are having difficulties. We can watch the mini dv video on the monitor but are having actual trouble capturing it through firewire. We are capturing on a sony HVR M15P tape deck. Anyone got custom settings they use?

  We keep getting errors like

  “To Capture HDV source material, both the Capture and Device control presets must be configured for HDV; otherwise, to capture in another format, both must NOT be configured for HDV”

  HELP!!!!

  Try the easy setup for HDV using the frame rate you’ve shot… Also the HDV deck has to be set to HDV playback.
