  Linking New Audio Tracks To Already Edited Clips

  Hello,

  So I have edited a sequence using video clips with attached sound clips (which were recorded in-camera). I just now got in the production audio from an external recorder.

  I was wondering if there was a way to open up a master clip, sync up and attach the new audio tracks, and then paste them onto my timeline whenever I have used sections from that master clip.

  I’ve tried doing the syncing in the timeline and then re-adding the new file to my Browser, but I can’t figure out how to make that new master file correspond with my edited clips. When I match frame the edited clips, they still reference the video clips with only the original audio tracks.

  Help!

  You probably need this:

  But if the amount of tracks in your current clips is equal or bigger than the new audio, you might be able to paste the new audio into the current QT’s and you’re done.

  (this can be done with QTchange and BWF-QT merge, both can be found on my site)
