  MOV wont preview

  I just bought a MacBook Pro and installed CS3 on it. I’ve downloaded most of the codecs I normally use.

  Anyhow, I’ve taken some MOV’s from Andrew Kramer’s Riot Gear and tried integrating them into my composition as 3D objects (The camera fly’s by the footage).

  My problem is that inside the composition, some of the MOVs won’t play, they will freeze on a certain frame (not playing the previous or following frames).

  If I close and re-open After Effects, some of the Other MOVs won’t play while the previous frozen MOVs will play.

  If I preview the files in AE they are fine, but inside the comp, they won’t work.

  I’ve tried creating Proxies and Simply Rendering out the movie to see if its not a preview problem, but even if I render out the movie, the MOVs still freeze up.

  Anyone know if this is a CS3 issue? What could I do to fix the problem?

  Be sure to have the latest version of QuickTime installed and send me an email with what you are seeing and I’d be happy to troubleshoot with you.
