How do I change the playback Audio Rate?
My sequence and clips are all 48khz but the screening monitor, which is hooked through a HDMI connection, shows a blinking image and it says 60khz. Also, the video in both the Viewer and video playing back from the Timeline lose sync shortly after hitting play. It slips and gets progressively worse. I think that this 60khz playback might be affect my sync as well.
Where is this 60khz coming from? How do I change it to 48khz?
Any help is much appreciated!!!

You’re sure it’s the the video frequence of 60hz it’s displaying? That’s the minimum refresh rate of an LCD.

Well it was blinking 1280×720 60khz. I’m not sure beyond that

Hi Jenna, What you are looking at (the blinking 60 kHz) is the refresh rate of the LCD screen. How are you monitoring your video? Do you have an AJA or Black Magic HD i/o card?
It sounds to me like you may be using the screen as a second (or third) computer monitor rather than a proper Video monitor. Can you give a little more info on your complete system?Richard Cooper

The screen rate has nothing to do with audio sample rate, it is all about frame rates and what the monitor is syncing to.

Your video is playing out at 60hz to your display.
This has nothing to do with audio. hz =/= khz.
