  I can not reconnect media if the capture video and audio are set on external hard drive

  Hello, is there anybody that can help me? First of all sorry for my bad english. I have this problem: I use a Canon HF11 AVCHD, if I set the video and audio captures on an external hard drive, when I open the FCP project after login out my computer there are a lot of offline media and if I try to reconnect them I have a message error “some attributes are different – media start and end.”
  instead if I set the video and audio capture on my Mac HD I do not have this error.

  How is the media drive formatted? Should be Mac OS Extended.

  Dear Jerry,
  thank you so much for you help, you are right.
  I was sure that it was formatted as Mac OS exstended but it is formatted as Filesystem Windows NT.
  I’ ve tried to use an other hard disk already formatted for Mac and it works.
