To draw a mask, you use the pen tool. If Rotobezier is checked, it’s easier to draw organic shapes. To animate the mask shape, set keyframes under the “mask shape” property.

    It’s all in the help.

Hi, So if i import the mgm lion and mask off the lion… Do i just put that on top of my footage that wants to be in the space where the lion should be?

    Regards Dave 🙂

    Dave’s not here man…

Yes, a mask will be required. If you click and drag with the pen tool, it will create Beziers.

Also, you may have to recreate part of the back ground, depending on how large the object replacing the lion will be.

Oh, and you may want to duplicate the logo and mask off the bottom half so that you can slip in the new object behind it.
