  • FCP 7 loosing renders after duplicating projects

Ok. So after finishing a project in FCP and doing a huge render of about half a day. I need to add textless elements to the end of the timeline. But as FCP is not very stable and dont want to touch my finished sequence I save and close the project. Duplicate the project in FCP and re-name. Then open the duplicated project so i create the textless elements. Once making the textless elements in the duplicated project i export it as a self contained QT. I then close the duplicated project and re-open my original project so that i can import the textless elements QT. But all my Renders have disappeared!!!!!

All the media is has been transcoded to DVCPro100 and i have a timeline to match. The large render come from a lot of noise reduction and video correction filters.

Any help would be greatly appreciated???
