  Effects that go beyond a layer

  Dear Creative Cowers,

  If I were to say, apply an effect to a layer that causes the effect to go beyond the layer how would I allow the effect to go beyond with out the sharp edge. for example if I were applying the CC light burst to a image and I didn’t want the sharp edge there.

  Use the Grow Bounds effect along with the other effect.
