    Hello Everyone,

I am working on a project where I have some mixed frame rate footage. My timeline is set up for 720p 59.94, which is based upon the same specs that the first batch of files that were given to me at the start of the project. However, the videographer shooting the footage is sending me files that are not consistent with what he started out with. So I now have 59.94 720P footage peppered with 23.98 720p footage.

I have noticed that the 23.98 footage plays back somewhat jittery when placed on the 59.94 timeline. Any suggestions on what is needed to be done to clean up this issue? Your thoughts are appreciated!

    CHEERS!

    Dave,

[Dave LaRonde] “My suggestion: grab a 23.98 clip, remove the pulldown (if necessary), and play it back in a 23.98 timeline as a test.”

Did you mean that he should take the 59.94 and conform it to 23.98 and put it ALL in a 23.98 timeline?

If so, I would agree that conforming the 59.94 footage in Cinema Tools is the way to go.

    K
