  Field shift ????

  Hey all

  Need some help with this one. Lately when ever I pull a DV PAL clip onto a DV Time, FCP adds a field shift filter automatically. WHY ? That’s my first question…

  And secondly, can one turthis on or off somewhere.

  I have another system running FCP and this does not add the SHIFT FIELDS filter ???

  Hi Will,
  Adds that filter when the field order of the footage doesn’t match the sequence.
  make sure that all your DV stuff shows up in the Browser as Lower First.
  The sequence must be lower first too.
