  Generated Text Dissapears in FCP

  I’ve had this problem for a while but only with a select few fonts. Whenever I create some generated text and change the font to Calibri in the controls window, what I typed disappears. What is even more perplexing is that the title still shows up in the sequence, viewer, and canvas despite me not being able to see what I am typing in the controls window.

  Any ideas as to how to get around this glitch?

  Power Mac G5 1.8 GHz with 3 GB ram running Leopard
