A co-worker of mine has built a 3D “card-like” graphic (CG on a while plane that flips over & has different text on the other side). It previews perfectly in AE, but when he imports it into premiere (or even plays it in real player) the graphic is suddenly twice the size, & placed differently on the screen. What can be causing this? He’s rebooted & rendered it out as an .avi, & as a quicktime. He’s on a PC (not sure which make) & on AE 6.5. Any sugeestions welcome. Thanks!

There is no camera in the comp, but since the layers themselves are rotating in 3D space, he doesn’t need one, right? I will have him check the view, though. Thanks!

I could be wrong, but check and make sure of the resolution he outputed (comp settings). If the comp settings frame size do not match, Premiere will scale it up to match the current video.

In otherwords, if you render out a graphic that is 320×240, when you import it, it will be twice as big in premiere. Atleast that was the last version I was using and its been quite awhile. That, or if the comp settings were for a standard DV window and his premiere project is HDV or 1080, that would definitely cause it as well…
