    Hi people –

I’m having problems with my plugins – I recently upgraded to a bigger hard drive, having completed transferring all the users and info (via time machine) the only problems I experienced were with FCP. Once opening the program I have limited video filters…

I have tried all the obvious (effects-effect availability – all effects etc).

    It is FCP 7.

An example of the limited effects is – under video filters – stylize, I only have …. anti alias, emboss, find edges, posterize, replicate and solarize.

I would reinstall from scratch but this would mean getting it sent from where it is, which I would like to avoid if possible.

If anyone has any clever ideas that would be great!

    Thanks,

    Ed.

Plugins aren’t in the USERS Library. They are in the main Library on the hard drive.

Time to reinstall them from the installers.

    Thanks Shane,

I think that none of these plugins would be in that folder as they are buried in the FCP package…but also I still have the back-ups of the original hard drive and this does not have these files in any obvious place, such as a plug-ins folder on the main library drive. Its a mystery but I guess I will have to go through a re-install process.

    Thanks for your response.

    Ed.
