    Have you converted the video to a proper editing codec? Your camera records using h.264 which is not a proper editing codec.

    what would you recommend putting my settings to with me using this camera if you dont mind me asking.

    Doing a search on the forum for editing h.264 will provide plenty of info. Your question is asked multiple times a day.

    Simply stated, ProRes 422 is the goto codec in FCP.

    Whenever there is a doubt in your mind, always go to ProRes 422.

    And please notice. I did not say ProRes HQ, nor ProRes LT, nor ProRes Proxy. ProRes 422 should simply be considered the standard.
