    Render times question.

    Macbook pro 2.5ghz
    4 gigs ram

2TB external raid for media connected Tempo SATA Pro ExpressCard/34
a broadcast monitor connected dvi-d (yes, digital signal just to have a second monitor for canvas). It is calibrated but not a true analog signal.

Just an example of current render time:

    2 Hour timeline.
    10 minute clip

Applying 3 way color correction: auto 3 way color correction for blacks, mids, and whites, using dropper to set white balance. Increasing mids a bit to lighten up exposure levels. (Live performance with poor lighting).

Render taking almost an hour. Is this normal for this mac or do I need some software maintenance?
