  FCP 7 Won’t Load For Some Reason

  Hi,

  I’m trying to load FCP 7 on my macbook pro (2008 version, operating system 10.5.8) and it won’t let us? We put it into applications and tried to open but it won’t – We never even get to the serial number because it says “the application quit unexpectedly” “ignore, relaunch or report” – but it won’t load. Any ideas?

  What do you mean “you put it into Applications?” That’s not how you install FCP.

  You put in the original Discs and do the entire installation process. You cannot simply copy it over from one computer to another.
